Gene Latta Ford is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our Service Team in Hanover, PA.

Our Mobile Service Technician brings the dealership directly to our customers, performing maintenance, recalls, inspections, and eligible repairs at homes, businesses, and fleet locations throughout our service area.

This is a great opportunity for an automotive technician who enjoys working independently, meeting customers, and providing a convenient service experience outside of a traditional shop environment.

What You'll Do

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will:

·         Travel to customer homes, businesses, and fleet locations in a Gene Latta Ford mobile service vehicle

·         Perform oil and filter changes and routine maintenance

·         Rotate tires and perform tire-related services

·         Replace batteries, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and other maintenance items

·         Perform multi-point vehicle inspections

·         Complete eligible Ford recalls and software updates

·         Perform light mechanical repairs that can safely be completed in a mobile environment

·         Use Ford diagnostic equipment and service information

·         Accurately document services, inspections, and repairs

·         Communicate professionally with customers and Service Advisors

·         Maintain and organize the mobile service vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory

·         Follow all Ford, dealership, and safety procedures

·         Identify repairs that require additional service at the dealership and communicate those needs to the customer and Service Department

What We're Looking For

·         Previous automotive service or repair experience

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability

·         Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

·         Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule

·         Excellent customer-service and communication skills

·         Dependable, punctual, and professional

·         Comfortable using computers, tablets, and diagnostic equipment

·         Ability to maintain an organized work environment

·         Willingness to complete Ford training and certifications

·         Ability to safely work outdoors and at customer locations

Ford dealership experience and Ford certifications are preferred, but not required for the right experienced technician.

Gene Latta Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Hanover, PA.

We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles, and wants to be part of an established dealership with a strong reputation in the community.

Ford experience is preferred, but not required. If you're an experienced technician from another dealership, independent repair facility, or automotive service center, we'd like to talk with you.

Responsibilities

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will:

·         Diagnose and repair automotive systems and components

·         Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on customer vehicles

·         Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns

·         Perform brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, engine, and other mechanical repairs

·         Complete manufacturer recalls and warranty repairs when qualified

·         Perform multi-point inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs

·         Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information

·         Clearly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs

·         Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle needs and repair progress

·         Perform quality-control checks on completed work

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

·         Follow Ford and dealership repair procedures

·         Complete ongoing training as required

What We're Looking For

·         Previous professional automotive repair experience

·         Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

·         Ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles

·         Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

·         Own basic automotive technician tools

·         Dependable and professional

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Willingness to continue training and expanding technical knowledge

Ford certification and ASE certifications are a plus, but are not required for the right experienced technician.
